How to make AVCHD (.m2ts) files play on HDTV?
I have many .m2ts video files that I have downloaded. I keep my collection on an external hard drive plugged into my HDTV via USB, but the TV doesn't recognize them. So what I have been doing is converting them one by one to .mp4 (with winAVI all-in-one converter), but since the files are all about 4 gB each, it is taking forever to complete this task.
Does anyone have any tips or tricks to make this faster? I should say that I have no control over how the video files are encoded. I just deal with the end product.

My favorite battery-saving tip is to disable &quot;Ask to Join Networks&quot; under the Wi-Fi settings.
