Part 1: How to transfer iPod songs and videos to computer for Windows users

Step 1: Connect your iPod to your computer

1. Backup iPhone to Mac Using iTunes
First step: start iTunes on your Mac. If you see a message asking you to trust the device, follow the instructions on the screen. If you want to enter the password, please enter the password to continue.
The second step: select the time when iPhone appears in iTunes.
The third step: if you want to encrypt the data in the backup, select the box marked "Encrypt iPhone backup" and create the password. Otherwise, please click "immediate backup".
The fourth step: when the process is completed, you can check the most recently created backup in the abstract. Look at the date and time of the latest backup.
2. Backup iPhone to Mac Using iCloud
step 2: connect the device to the Wi-Fi network.
step 2: enter Settings > your name, and then click "iCloud". If you are using iOS 10.2 or earlier version, go to settings and scroll down to find "iCloud".
Step 3: if you are using an earlier version of iOS, click "iCloud Backup" or "Backup". Ensure that "iCloud Backup" has been opened.
