JailbreakMe has to be the easiest and simplest jailbreak solution in recent times. Sadly, it doesn't enable the disabled-by-default-by-Apple iOS 4 features for iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G i.e. multitasking and home screen wallpapers.
