Android platform has done very impressive job so far with smartphones but only thing that it seriously lacks in comparison with iPhone is the gaming. Android supports good graphics and Froyo 2.2 coming up with full support to openGL

More smartphone contract sales at $70 and up. They hope it is 2 to 3 million per quarter to match or defeat ATT in subscriber growth.
