Apple is seeking new deals from the music labels to add ringtones and other offerings to the iPhone. The negotiations are active now because Apple appears to want to introduce new features in June.

Thanks for sharing these treasured memories with us. It's hard to believe that Gefen has been gone a year already...Wow.
