"Galileo Offline Maps" app allows you to browse world map on your iPhone/ iPod Touch even you are offline.
Galileo keeps all downloaded tiles in cache: once tiles have been downloaded they will be saved and shown further.
Moreover it is initially supplied with seven attractive layers for displaying the map. You can quickly switch between them.
