Apple banned the use of Flash on iPhone OS devices, generating a lot of pointless heat and smoke. What is just now getting noticed, however, is that Apple has opened low-level video hardware acceleration to third party applications on the Mac.

There is quite a bit of discussion in another part of this forum but the suggestion that solved the problem for me was to just enlarge the slot at the bottom with a razor or scissors.
