So it was just over a year ago that we posted that Apple Inc.?s (NASDAQ: AAPL) iPhone looked like it might be a huge flop among Japanese consumers. That was then and this is now. In a recent report, supplied by Tokyo-based MM Research Institute (MMRI), the iPhone has managed to overtake Japan's smartphone market. But that's not the whole story.
