Yesterday the general manager of the China Mobile Research Institute, Bill Huang, asked Apple to make a version of the iPhone just for China Mobile. Thanks to the different standard that the Chinese network runs on, normal iPhones aren't compatible with the biggest operator in the world. But it may simply not be worth Apple's time to put the effort
