You believe Consumers Reports? Really, one example they tested oil filters. They used all of the standard test from SAE. Then they created their own test, the poured oil with "Arizona road dust" into the filters under no pressure, just poured it int through the holes and poured it out again and measured the "dust" and declared one filter the winner based on this test. The standard engineering tests found most filters to be tied. This is Consumer's Reports testing. It is a nice guide, but as the basis for a decision, I would run from it. dvd copy on mac I was in my sister, who had just taken my car keys when my iPhone started out of my bathing suit pocket, runs on the road, then roll in the dirt.
