Although Galaxy Tab exports videos up to 1080p, the 1920*1080 HD formats are not ideal solution for watching videos from Galaxy Tab. Comparing with SD video formats, the HD formats generate much bigger files. And you can hardly tell the differences between SD and HD quality when playing on Galaxy Tab. A 90min movie could takes up 6-18GB if it is encoded with 1080p HD formats comparing with 2-4GB in SD. There are visibly differences on a 48’ HDTV, but not on a 7’ Galaxy Tab. So you are encouraged to click on the pull down menu of “Format”, and then follow “Common Video” to choose > DivX, Xvid, MPEG4, H.263, H.264 encoded formats.
According to my test, the AVI, MP4, WMV and MKV format work well with Galaxy Tab. 3GP format is not recommended, for this format gives vague image for Galaxy Tab playback. The best format for Galaxy Tab? H.264 encoded MP4 or MKV format must be the top choice. The two clips I tested not only play great on Galaxy Tab, but also take up less disk space. If you also have an iPad, “iPad>> iPad Video H.264 (*.mp4) format” is your top choice, because this format is good for both iPad and Galaxy Tab.
Step 3: Put and Blu-ray movies/DVD on Samsung Galaxy Tab
Click "Convert" button to start converting videos to Samsung Galaxy Tab on Mac. After conversion completes you can click the "Open" button to find the converted files. Now the videos are optimized to be friendly for Samsung Galaxy Tab.
Tips:
To get higher video quality, simply click “Settings”, find “Bitrate” in Video column, and set it to “high quality” before the video to Galaxy Tab conversion starts.
To watch HD contents on HDTV from Galaxy Tab, you may choose 1080p video. Just follow “HD Video” and choose DivX HD AVI or MPEG-4 HD MP4 video format. Note 1080p MKV is not acceptable for Galaxy Tab.

Blu-ray ripping: why it takes so long?
By ripping Blu-ray to 1080p HD video clips, the Blu-ray movies can be played back freely over PC HD media players and Video DVD players as well, and are no longer restricted to play in applicable Blu-ray player only. Many movie lovers find it takes long time to rip a Blu-ray Disc to PC, especially when they choose 1080p MKV/MP4/AVI/WMV as export format. If you have a PC/laptop with Intel CORE i5/i7 processor with 6GB of RAM or above and run an effective Blu-ray ripping/converting tool exclusively, the Blu-ray ripping process could takes around an hour. Generally speaking, Blu-ray ripping process can cost 2-8 hours when working on a slower/regular PC. The higher quality you get, the longer it takes.
Time-saving solutions for ripping Blu-ray Disc to Windows 7

A. Rip Blu-ray to M2TS streams without en-decoding.
This is an easiest and fastest way for backing up full Blu-ray data, as it copies high-def Blu-ray M2TS to your hard drive straightly without en-decoding process. The good thing is you’ll get Blu-ray clips in the way they are made into BD, so there will not be any quality loss. All you need is Blu-ray decrypting software like Pavtube Blu-ray Disc Ripper v3.7, and the whole process takes 40min to 1 hour only on a regular PC. But there are few portable media players play M2TS streams without a hitch, so make sure your media player or PC meet the Blu-ray playing specifications first. B. Accelerate Blu-ray ripping process by taking advantage of NVIDIA’s GPU acceleration tech.

The smaller output video is, the short time it takes to rip Blu-ray to your computer. Again take Pavtube Blu-ray Ripper v3.7 for example; a Blu-ray movie of 20GB will be compressed to 12GB when you set “MKV HD” as output format. How to edit MOD, TOD, and MTS files in Mac Avid Xpress Pro?

Well, nobody forced anyone to be a blog writer. When you allow comments on your blog and gets so many answers like Rene, it just shows that what he writes is interesting and relevant and that he is not afraid of criticism. I love to read his stuff, even if I think that most of it is over the top. That��s not trolling, that��s fair criticism. rip dvd to wmv And you are the typical confused customer. AT&T hands down will have faster data speeds over Verizon but there consistency in service makes it not even worth it. You may be one of the few AT&T customers that has great coverage but compared to Verizon that works about the same everywhere the trade of is worth it. I am in Chicago where T-Mobile has better coverage than AT&T. Verizon Works everywhere and yeah i only get 1.5 mbit/s but its consistent. I have no lag with web, Netflix or any other app. When a device has web based programs that only draw enough data to display on a 3 inch display that lovely 3 mbit/sec peak AT&T gets in a few places doesn't really seam to be worth the trade off for garbage nationally.
