A while ago macstories.net noticed that iPad and iPhone users are able to watch videos on facebook via web interface. At first it seemed like facebook is converting to HTML5, but then it became clear, that Facebook is transcoding their videos to .mp4 format which is supported by Apple devices and doesn't require Adobe Flash.
