Apple Inc.'s share of the smart phone market in the U.S. dropped to 19.2 percent in the first quarter from 26.7 percent the preceding quarter, analysts reported Thursday, while Palm Inc.'s share rose.IDC said Cupertino-based Apple is still second behind Research In Motion's BlackBerry, which had a 44.5 percent market share in the first quarter.
