Miss this impressive and stirring drama at your own peril
Winter Is Coming:game of thrones dvd Some high praise indeed. Myles and Jace both seem to match my opinion of the show. Ran has a slightly more balanced review, noting some of the disappointments he had with the series. I understand his criticisms however I feel that certain things just don’t translate to screen. That is why the books and the TV show are two different entities and I think viewing them as such will make for a more rewarding experience.Game of Thrones Season 1 dvd But in the end, Ran says he loved it, and I agree with him there.
As for myself, since my initial review I have watched episodes two and three. I will have another post with my full impressions of the series, once I have watched all six episodes. But so far, nothing I have seen has changed my original opinion of the show. The purists may not like it, but David & Dan have done what they needed to do to make this show a success, taken George’s material and lovingly reworked it for television. As a fan of the books,Game of Thrones box set it is an absolute blast to watch and I sincerely hope it catches on with the general audience.

How does a show top killing off its main character? For Game of Thrones, that was the challenge after the shocking Game of Thrones Season 1 dvd death of Ned Stark, but the show somehow managed to get even better.
