Handy Tool for Converting MOV for Windows Movie Maker
Yesterday I received a call from my best friend, he said that he had bought a Kodak Zi8 for taking pictures and recording videos when go outside. Last week, he went aboard for business, after the work, he went some scenic spots and recording many interesting videos of the beautiful scenery and the friendly people there. It was so colorful of the business trip.
When he went back, he was eager to DIY all the videos he had recorded by the Window Movie Maker in his PC. But as he input the videos to the Window Movie Maker for editing, it seemed that the MOV format used by Kodak Zi8 recorded videos were not compatible with Window Movie Maker. MOV files are media files typically used with the Quicktime player developed by Apple. While some programs can play both types of files, some users like my friend may experience problems trying to play MOV files on their systems and may need to convert MOV to WMA to properly play the files.
The hany way to convert MOV to WMA is to download and use a program specifically designed to convert those file types. Nearly all the programs will convert MOV files into a number of different file types, though WMA is quite common. Besides, people can edit the WMA file by Window Movie Maker directly, such as adding text, image, and effects to the videos. And then they can enjoy the video made by themselves with their friends anytime.
